Hello everybody. Last month during the sale I spent enough to get a free key for System Shock 2 among other things, Problem is I already have a copy and another problem I have is the key expires tomorrow 11:59 PM GMT which is like 7:59 PM my time so I have to move fast which means a small contest is in order.

Incidentally as you probably already know by now this tease has been going around recently http://othersidetease.com/sss.php from the legends over at Otherside Entertainment and the miracle workers from Night Dive Studios. Pretty big deal I would say and convenient for me since to enter for the key you must answer one of two topical questions(or both if you really want to)

1. If you are a fan of the series or even if you are not, what would you like to see from System Shock 3.

OR

2. What franchise that hasn't released a game in awhile would you like to see have a sequel or even a prequel. My example would be that I would like to see Half Life 3 while i'm still young, breathing or maybe before the human race is too busy colonizing other planets to worry about making video games(Just saying Gabe)

Contest will end 11:00 EST tonight which would be midnight my time, I wanted to give it more time but i'm fighting with a work schedule and I don't want this code to go to waste. Winner will be chosen at random from the people who enter.

Ah what the hell, I'm in, +1 and thanks for the giveaway!

1. Although I guess it's not very likely, I'd love for creature research to again be a part of the game. Specifically, I'd want to have a research book / database of some kind that gradually adds entries for enemies as you learn more about them. I love it when games have such a component: fascinating in-game descriptions of enemies. For example the autopsies in the original XCom, Clem's notebook in The Suffering or the unit descriptions in AoW

2. More than anything I want Dawn of War 3 and Warcraft 4, but I don't imagine that's exactly likely. Perhaps more likely, are dungeon-keeper similar games, now that War for the Overworld has been released. The first one I would want is Startopia 2. It was even hinted at in Startopia's credits:

I just got back from work with less than an hour to go into the contest. I will close the entries with 5 minutes left.

Contest is now over and I guess you were the only one who entered so I will pm you the key shortly. Congratulations. (Answer back when you get the code and that it works please.)

Thank you! I have successfully redeemed the code and the game is now in my account. It's been years since I've played it. Can't wait to give it a go again :)

That's pretty damn awesome. Reminds me of Clem's notebook somewhat, except I don't think that had a voice over. Looks like a great game too! Pity that it was a gamecube exclusive though
