Just installed steam after years and i can't install any games properly because of the CSU problem and if i change regions or try these fixes https://appuals.com/fix-steam-content-servers-unreachable/
They don't work.

I actually only have 19 games on steam now but i really wanted to play hybris pulse of ruin rpg maker game that i already played a free version when it wasn't updated as much and was called hybris rebirth gold and wanted to support the guy.
But then i noticed none of the games can be installed even other games. There are some people that have this CSU problem, can somebody confirm that installing a game on steam works for them.

I did mention gog to the guy but don't know if it's possible to bring a rpg maker game here his game was already is very good before releasing on steam.
Oh also noticed that win xp on steam won't work anymore from 2019 january 1.
Sure, just went ahead and reinstalled Hexcells since it's a tiny download. Worked fine.

Any chance you have two-factor authentication on your account and haven't checked the email you used to enable that? I see that isn't listed in the list of potential fixes in the link you shared in your OP.
Just installed something to check, seems to be working fine here.

Updating Steam itself on first opening it seemed to take a little longer than usual but otherwise fine.

Think i got that or what is two factor authentication on steam?
I did get a code that i needed to enter to use steam again and had to write 5 letters sometimes even with a number to use steam.
I got the email with the code entered in steam and then steam worked but the downloads have problems it says quoed or something and it doesn't download.

Sometimes games do get stuck in "queued" state, usually when the client decides to schedule them instead of immediately downloading them. I've always been able to go to the downloads screen in the client and manually press the button to start the download.

On the other hand, if it's been a few years, then a lot has probably changed in your signal flow. Did you do *all* the things suggested in the article you linked? At the very least, you should make sure that you're not on a router that's blocking Steam, not using a firewall blocking it, and make sure - depending on your Operating System - that you're running at least temporarily with admin permissions, especially to whatever folder you're trying to write (install) to. Any of those three things would jam you up right away.

"Queued"? Sounds like it is waiting for some task to finish first before starting your download or installation.

Well i only tried some options but couldn't find clientregistry.blob, firewall and antivirus turned off.Option 1 tried but it was already unchecked, option 3 tried several regions, i use panda antivirus, 5 i don't need i am only download one game, 6 i was capable of doing without using flush command since you can do it in steam, 8 i don't know how but my pc has a direct internet cable connected from modem to pc,9 tried, 10 already is the latest one
I got this pc like on october last year but i am not sure if i have full admin priviliges because there is someone elses name on this pc and i am just a user.
Didn't have any admin problems with gog games though.
I do believe have some admin privileges though

Fonzer: i can't install any games properly
This is the problem I have with Steam as well as their DRM. I can't reach anything because their servers are blocked on the network I use.

I have to use a proxy.

I point that out since the article you link to says not to use one.

And like i said from 17 june some windows xp users can't download from steam.

Somebody posted a solution to this problem.
Had to edit a file under config in steam folder.
More info here https://askubuntu.com/questions/1046951/when-downloading-a-windows-steam-game-over-ubuntu-wine-i-get-the-error-content

I posted the link under cip and i can install games again on steam.
If anyone runs into this issue, you can just copy config.vdf from another Steam installation, like Windows 10 onto your Windows XP Retro PC and that should fix the issue.

Let's enjoy our last month of running Steam on our Windows XP Retro Gaming PCs :D
