Hi!

After a long time, I've finished working on my little project; that quickly become much more bigger than I tough initially...

I have a 11 years old steam profile but from when I've discovered GOG it quickly become my favorite platform for buying games (and also I love more 'Good old' games that most of the AAA that come out today).

All these games are slowly getting cloud solutions, but I don't find them 100% reliable: Lot of games will NEVER get an official cloud solutions. Also,I don't have a fast fiber connection so I don't have a way to sync my 2gb The Witcher 3 savegames folder . And even sometimes they strangely fails: I had to start again my MGSV playthrough (on Steam) for a reason I still have to understand. Also, years ago, I've lost 80hrs of Gothic3 when my PC caught fire (rip never forget).

Also, I like to store all my savedata onto an external hard drive: sometimes I continue my SimCity 4 region, my MGS2 savedata or simply I like maintain them like "trophies".

Also I share my pc with my brother, and (expecially for old retail or GOG games) I have to manually swap savegames every time we play at the same games.

In February 2017 to distract myself from a bad moment in my life, I've started to work on a little software that wanted solve all these kind of issues, at the same times adding extra useful features to simplify my gaming life like (but not only) automatic screenshot managing, auto sync of savedata (but with different game configurations) when I play on my laptop and my main PC, optimized local backups, guest mode, and...

...after a while it quickly become a real catching project. So I've decided to make a big next step: create comPLAY!

I've build the comPLAY website, the official guide (with examples, screenshot and videos) and obliviously...the comPLAY application, the core of my project!

I also payed the Steam App Fee and I hope they will approve it soon!

I would love to release it on GOG but they doesn't accept software so...

Most of all I would like to receive advice, opinions (the 'com' in the name stands for community!) and suggestions for upcoming features!

It's the first time I show my project to the public, so don't be too hard!

I can't post any links (why?), so I must leave my website here: www.complay.info

Look under your name next to your post and you'll see a "Rep: 1" which means your reputation is 1. I remember it needed to be at least 5 before links are allowed in posts. It might need to be a little bit higher now, like 7 or 10.

In order to raise your reputation up, simply post at least once in a day (>24 hours apart). Reputation increases only by one per day no matter how many posts are made in that day. But it doesn't increase automatically, so no post then no increase.

There are other ways, such as when a post is high rated (not just threads, any post), but I don't know how much that increases the reputation. That is from other members selecting the "+" button on a post. But no need to rely on other ways, just post once a day and within about a week or so it will likely be enough.

I imagined that it was something related to "Reps"!

Thanks for the explanation!
