Dark_art_: I head over to the Steam page to check reviews. It's not pretty...
Have you translated the Chinese one? That guy says it's a good game, but gives it a thumb down, nonetheless.
One other guy's "review" is one word: "boring" (review made after 20 minutes of playtime - now he is at over 3 hours - what to make of this?)
Two others complain about being stabbed and "not nice enough animations", etc.
Two complain about the Japanese translation, etc.

Overall playtime of most of the negative reviews is under one hour.

So, I'm not saying the game is good (how could I? - I don't own it yet), but I would take these negative reviews with a grain of salt.

There was a demo, but it's been removed, even though the page for the full game still links to where it was.

I still have it in my library so I've been playing that, and unfortunately I have to concur that if the demo represents the final game accurately, it's undercooked. It gets too much stuff wrong on a very basic level, e.g. when a sconce is mounted on a wall facing away from the screen, getting a prompt to blow out the candles in keyboard-and-mouse mode seems to depend on rotating the camera first. Whereas gamepad mode would really like me to have an extra thumb (moving camera functions to the D-pad to free up the shoulder buttons might have worked better for the twin-stick set-up).
