GOG.com: drawing inspiration from iconic SEGA games of the 90s, but infused with modern twists.
Would rather see that some actual Sonic games from SEGA got here.
I just played the demo and really enjoyed it. The way the story is told during cutscenes somehow reminded me of the ending credits of Wall-E and the intro to Inherit the Earth. The graphic design is really nicely done, with lots of interesting things going on in certain parts of a scene. This is truly what can be called a labor of love.
Boy, that ain't the first name I would have picked for checks game page under duress...

What appears to be Limbo with the lights turned on.

GOG.com: Coming soon: The Cub

Challenging platform parkour inspired by classic SEGA games of the 90s - The Jungle Book, Aladdin, Lion King – but with modern twists and ideas.
Not the worst games to try and imitate.
I enjoyed Golf Club Wasteland and this one looks good from the trailer. Looks like some platformer classics like the mine cart. I enjoyed the one track of music released so far (that you can hear part of in the trailer).
Hello!

Great announcement! The game world of "Golf Club Nostalgia" is an interesting one to return to by the developers. And it apperas, that they are elaborating a bit on the backstory, while at the same time making a connection to the lone golfer (compare the end of the trailer).

What puzzles me though, is the exagerated use of buzz words in the product description:

(...) mastering platform parkour (...)
(...) environmental puzzles that challenge your intellect and keep you guessing. (...)
Since when is a standard (or even cinematic) platformer called a "parkour" or "story-rich" game?!

And the revealed gameplay in the trailer does not show any of those "intellectually challenging" environmental puzzles...

The setting is really intriguing, but the marketing speach is somewhat repelling to me. I guess, I will have to wait for its release and some reviews on actual gameplay.

Kind regards,
