I wouldn't be against Subverse being released here if they wanted to, but I don't want to see "curation" opened up too much. We've seen the absolute shit show that Steam turned into when they opened everything up. GOG doesn't need to go down that road.

Lifting the restrictions on AO titles here would be fine, but they should have strict curation on those kinds of games, and only allow titles that are stand out in some way. I'm fine with games like Succubus, Agony, Hatred (which is AO for violence only), Subverse, etc. Maybe some premium or exceptional visual novels...

Definitely. Not allowing asset flip trash in here, I'm 100% OK with. But refusing games only because of age rating, I'm glad to finally see GOG loosen up in this regard.

Don't get overly enthused just yet, there's still plenty of time for gog to chicken out and release the M-rated version only.

I don't think that's going to happen, because it's already been spread and advertised heavily, so it'd look extremely bad for GOG to back out on this.

One thing to consider here is that Madmind Studio is from Poland, so this might just be a special exception for them, and not really them loosening up restrictions for everyone.
