Loger13: Okay, if it will work also in ye good olde DRM-Free way: via LAN or Direct Connection, then it might be worth a look.
If it has LAN I'll buy to play with my wife.
For a moment I thought this was gonna be a racing game. You know, like Burnout, Flatout, Redout, etc.

schmoemi: As it's advertised as a co-op PVP game: it should have the "Multiplayer" tag on its game card, shouldn't it?

Berzerk2k2: This game is PvE not PvP.
What does PvE, PvP mean?

Thank you. So that mean, that it is similar to older shooter games, like Blood, Quake, Doom, Duke Nukem etc.?
It's so good! Procedural DOOM 3!
Man, tags are getting lazy - advertised as co-op, marked as single player - but I guess it's online only for sure. So much for the best co-op of them all (LOCAL).
was interested in the game until I read it's description - no thanks.
Was really interested in this one... but then I read the dreaded words Procedurally Generated Levels.

It can be fun when done right.
When I read words like "rogue-like" or "souls-like" it's completely over for me. But this is not the case here.

I know, if the gameplay loop actually supports it and it has a proper variety of tiles it can work, but in most cases it's just a lazy, repetitive get-out-of-design shortcut. I'll still take crafted level design any day of the week.

I'll probably give this a bash eventually though.
Doesn't sound like it has any offline single-player campaign. Or does it? Until I know that it does, I'm out.

Proc gen can be done well, but even if done well, I'm sorry but it can't hold a candle to hand crafted, especially when it comes down to creating an atmosphere and a real sense of place. So yeah, proc gen is definitely not a selling point, at least not to me. And you. ;-)

Same here. But I hope the game will be fun anyway. I'll give it a try.
This game should appear later today (if 3D Realms doesn't screw this up again) as it just launched in Early Access some hours ago. I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
