Prequel, looks like. Since this takes place before the colonization of Mars, while the Redout racing was developed on Mars.

op-si: I hope this isn't a simulation, but rather an arcade space shooter. Because if it is the later, than I will buy it. :)

Crimson-X: It is the later. Nothing sim about it.

Will get instantly. The price is pretty good.
Thank you! :D I will too...

MischiefMaker: On sale at Steam right now. Why the GOG delay?
I have no idea of the difficulties in releasing a game on GOG compared to steam and integrating into their game clients, but it could simply be that the development team just don't have the resources to focus on both clients at the same time.

There has been a few occurences where a GOG release of a game has been a few weeks after steam. Thankfully, this time, GOG have let us know in advance that this game is coming, and I'll happily wait to get the GOG version.

There's been a few games that I would have bought on GOG rather than Steam, if I had known there were coming to GOG :(
Yees! I loved their previous game so much I bought it on three different platforms without hesitation. Granted this is a shooter, not a racing game, but I really like the qualty that this team puts up, I feel like they really know their audience. Wish-listed obviously.
Game so bright and colorful and flashy, my eyes are hurts after about 2 minutes of watching some gameplay video.
Summary - BAD game, my eyes are really hurts!

P.S. GoG Team if you read this post - better cooperate with Devs / Publishers of Galaxy on Fire_2_Full HD and publish this Great space Game here, at GoG store.
Star Fox this time. I might hava to get this.
Interested to see how this goes, Redout had a lot of lore packed into it, always felt the game's genre didn't do the world building work they did justice.
It's Feb. 1st. Has it been delayed?

Sometimes GOG releases happen later in the day, so we'll see.
The release date has been removed from the store page.

Yeah it's still got a store page saying Coming Soon but apparently it's been pushed back I guess.
I just hope it's not another War Groove.
