groze: The trailer does look better, but, sadly, it looks way more like an action-adventure with "Souls-inspired" precise combat than a pure platformer. At least they made the graphics less blurry and more consistent, I guess? At least for the first trailer.
As a person who played this game already: it definitely is first and foremost a platformer, and a pretty challenging one at times! Definitely took me back to all of the platformers I've played as a baby, Crash bandicoot, Spyro, Croc and so on, but with definitely less forgiving combat :") The "evil winning against good" idea is very tongue in cheek, which is another thing that reminds me of these old games, all more or less on the light-hearted, funny side. In general, it was a biiiiig nostalgia trip for me, with the gameplay, looks and general vibe. I'll definitely play when it comes out.
There used to be a demo available on steam few months ago, too bad it's not there anymore :( The promo screenshots are definitely a weird choice, marketing wise.
