With this game, you’re in for a thrill; it’s only for those of strong hearts. no sleep for sole is coming soon on GOG, and you can try the DEMO now!

no sleep for sole is an eerie survival horror game that delves into the darkness of human mind. As a player, you’ll step into the shoes of Sole, a young boy who remains awake during the night to protect himself from the menacing monsters lurking within his home. You can expect an hour and a half of disturbing content with multiple endings and a tense survival gameplay that revolves around efficient use of resources.

Are you ready?
I think you got it mixed up, the base game isn't listed and the demo is 5 bucks.
Demo now for free, game coming soon.
My eyes are bleeding just looking at the screens.

You should watch the trailer. Because of GOG's genius idea to use youtube videos - along with their terrible compression - you almost can't see a thing. Great PR.
While it looks like a game I would want to play, the graphics make me feel sick, so I just can't. This might work on a handheld or mobile device with a small screen, but not on a 32-inch curved display.

Not sure why I'm even looking at this thread since I avoid horror games but I noticed this comment and had the same issue for a while until I started manually changing the resolution on each trailer before playing them. Most games (including this one) do have at least a 1920x1080 trailer but the speed autodetect seems to be broken. If you select a higher resolution manually it works fine. Often if you "watch on youtube" (link in the lower left corner before the video plays) it is more likely to get the right resolution (but still doesn't at times). They are trying to avoid pauses in the video, although I think in most cases it would be better to have the pauses (which I rarely see with a 12mbps connection other than taking a bit to load at the beginning) and more accurately show the game (of course this would assume the trailer actually shows the game, which unfortunately is often not the case :( ).

I thought you were exaggerating but now my eyes are bleeding too. Stupid me.

You're right. Thank you for the information.

Hey, developer here.

I appreciate your feedback. I've released an update to the game that weakens the static effect. Make sure you're playing on version 1.43. Hopefully, now the game will be easier on the eyes. Additionally, you can disable the CRT filter in the settings menu.

Unfortunately, there currently isn't an offline installer available, as that seems to be taken care of on GOG's side, but in the meantime, you can download the new version DRM-free here.

Listening to audience feedback is always a good sign. Thanks for being responsive.

I think people were referring to the trailer and the game page screenshots, rather than the game itself.

בהצלחה.

Well, the screenshots and trailer are indicative of the game. I've taken screenshots of the new version for the store page, but they've not been added yet.

For now, have a side-by-side comparison. I've actually never had trouble looking at the game for long periods of time, but I do see where people are coming from. The new release is much more pleasant to look at.

תודה! :)

I think the look is on purpose. Don't mind the commenters too much here, they are known to be whining for all the wrong reasons. ;)

Not sure yet if this is my type of game, but at the same time, I am very, very intrigued! ;) Demos are always appreciated and will allow me to test the game prior to deciding if I want to buy it or not. So, thank you for providing a demo of your game here, OfirGabay. :)
