2D platformer game with a touch of romance sounds like something you’d enjoy? You’re gonna love this game then; Monospaced Lovers is coming soon on GOG!

As Clara, the protagonist, awakens, she discovers an unfamiliar phone. Upon its screen, a puzzling missive awaits, left behind by a hacker known as the Gòd o͏f̴ B̴in͠a̸r̨y̧. The message ominously suggests that her time in this reality is limited. Her only lead comes in the form of encrypted messages trapped within the device; alongside a mysterious new companion who, much like Clara, finds himself in possession of a mysterious phone.

Soon on GOG!
looks cute :<
Surprisingly appealing. I hope the bullet hell bosses aren't too tough tho. I never manage to do well in this sort of game. Also, since there are several collectables, I hope either there is a way to tell which ones are missing or where they are.

Wishlisting it.
Oh hey, I'm the dev. Thanks for the shoutout, GOG staff!

Thanks for the wishlist! The bosses are pretty manageable on Easy mode, and there is a hint device that points you in the direction of which items are missing. If anything, I think people have a harder time with the puzzles than the bullet hell, but it should be fine if you enjoy exploring and talking to NPCs (like an old Zelda).

#_eternal,
Would be possible to bring the demo and prologue to GOG please? And already there, Sepia Tears too, free and paid. It would be fantastic.

I agree with Provide_A_Username, it would be great to have at least the prologue on GOG with the Galaxy achievements!

Page a few blue to get dev credit added to your account. Otherwise nobody knows you are a game dev.

Hey there! What a nice surprise. Your game looks pretty cool, I'm curious to play it fully soon.

Glad to know that the bullet hell portion isn't unbeatable for someone like me who easily gets overwhelmed by a billion bullets coming in my direction and ends up intercepting more than if I remained stationary :)
About the puzzles, that's okay as long as they're well done and do not rely on "Moon logic". Like in Fez, which had some pretty hard puzzles but they were all logical and in the end I liked every one of them.

As for the hint system, I suppose that is okay if the hints don't take away all the fun of the "hunt". When I talked about this issue I was thinking of the way Dust: an Elysian Tale solved the issue: you can reenter any stage from the map screen and in that screen you can see how many secrets you're missing from that stage. But you still gotta explore every nook and cranny.

I'll go ahead and ask someone at GOG - can't promise anything yet, but I'll see what we can do. I got the Galaxy achievements up and running in the main app, so it shouldn't be too hard to do the same for the Prologue.

Actually, it's nice that you mentioned Fez - the second half of that game was a huge inspiration to me. I'm avoiding spoilers, of course, but I think you'll notice some similarities in the puzzles!
