This charming classic delivers cute Japanese nostalgia to worldwide audiences for the first time – Milano's Odd Job Collection is coming soon on GOG!

School’s out, but 11-year-old Milano’s mom needs to go to the hospital and Milano is sent to spend the summer with her uncle. There’s one small problem – her uncle is away on vacation! Left on her own, Milano decides to make the most of her situation by taking up a variety of part-time jobs in town.

Wishlist it now!
Can't deny this interests me from being apparently now having a official English release. I also like the art style so dependent on price on release here and my funds it may or may not be a instant buy

The funk am I supposed to do with someone else's nostalgia?

Apparently, it will be priced at 14.99 USD (uncertain as to whether or not it will receive an impermanent launch discount).

Exactly, this might have been big in Japan, but i've never heard of it and have zero nostalgia for it.

Thanks even the flat Usd price is viable
The premise of this game had me instantly thinking of "Donald Duck's Playground".

Good comparison, seems like all of the same base elements are here.

Donald Duck's Playground is one of the fun old games that I would like to see working on newer systems in a simple package, with only changes to controls, loading times and maybe, just maybe, a bit more faster walking between tasks.

Individual tasks could be sometimes challenging, but there would be absolutely no need for changes to difficulty.

Now that I am reminded of Donald Duck's Playground, buying and playing Milano's Odd Job Collection (full titles are necessary, of course), doesn't seem so... odd.

>XSEED

Now bring over the rest of the Senran Kagura games, Onechanbara and Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin please!
For those unaware, this is the first commercial localization done by Hilltop. They've worked on many high quality translations of Japanese only console games in the past like Racing Lagoon, b.l.u.e. Legend of water, Aconcagua and Boku no Natsuyasumi 2.

I was not expecting this to release here, but I'll happily buy it just to support them for all the amazing work they've done on their past projects.
11-year-old Milano’s mom

That could have been structured a bit better, maybe splice in a comma somewhere? Or a "the"?

Anyways, this looks like Wariorware, the Home Edition?
Honestly, when it comes to nostalgia, I'm going to have to pass, as I wasn't familiar with this game. However, based on the screenshots, the trailer video, and the opinions of some of the forum members, it seems well worth giving it a try.

I really like Japanese and Asian humor. Old games for the Famicom and Super Famicom were known for being very colorful, cheerful, and sometimes quite extravagant. And Milano's Odd Job Collection seems to take that into mind.

And, well, if XSEED is behind this game, that certainly means it's synonymous with quality.

To the wish list.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated =)

My mind's totally blown with this one.
Just a few months ago I played the PS1 original like "heheh charming cute game, pretty funny!"

I never, never, never, EVER expected it to get ported, updated, and TRANSLATED, in 2025.
Come on GOG, now this should be a sign of more stuff from XSEED and Marvelous coming right?

Make it happen!

Gonna grab this when it releases!
