Okay, game designers. Lemme give you a hot brotip from someone who has been playing games perhaps a long time:

If your characters look like Persona3 NPC knockoffs, maybe go the extra step with the game art.

Seriously, it's quite a clash with the character art looking all detailed while all the ingame graphics basically look like the programmer made the assets.

Or one could do the inverse, and make pixel art portraits.

Fact is, there never was a game console that ever looked like this. It's too colorful for the NES, but the pixel fidelity is too low for anything else.

Because the vibe the game gives currently is that the better art assets were lifted from somewhere else.
