Better get ready, because Klaus Lee - Thunderballs is coming soon on GOG!

If you’re in a retro mood, this ‘80s inspired reimagined classic 2D action-platformer will be the right title for you. Klaus Lee - Thunderballs will give you a deep dive into a neon-hued brash, as no one else but Klaus Lee – who once was about to become a private investigator in Hawaii, but got bored of waiting for the recruitment results and came back to California. There, he worked as an unknown stuntman while running a squad of troubleshooters that kept getting beaten to the clients by a much more successful Team. Now the time has come, to dust off your jetpack, grab dynamite and prepare laser eyes, and dive into Klaus' first challenging adventure!

Soon on GOG!

Guy with a jetpack, dynamite and a laser helmet in a cavern system?
With limited energy reserves for his jetpack?
Definitely H.E.R.O.

It looks interesting, but it would be nice to have demo to check it out as controls and the physics implementation.
I agree it looks like Rick Dangerous. Not sure about the animation style and movement though.

Looks like the game's page got removed from GOG?
Link in OP (https://www.gog.com/game/klaus_lee_thunderballs?source=news) leads to the store's main page (https://www.gog.com/en/games).

Ah yes...and the link you posted shows releases are planned for PS5, XBox, Switch and PC.
But the latter is apparently a Steam exclusive.
shrug
The removal seems just temporary, if you do a web search with the game and release date it brings up various sites that list GOG among the other platforms.

Klaus Lee – Thunderballs is officially out on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (...GOG...) – €12.99 June 26th 2025.
Is this game locked in China? I can't see the game page; instead, it automatically redirects to the store interface.
This game looks very interesting. I saw it on the STEAM platform.

If true then varies articles mentioning a Gog release that shown up afew hours ago is basing it on prior information that changed or the ones that stated it to them was having outdated information or those behind it lied if not some other matter

Edit never mind went to the articles again to link em and they suddenly no longer mention Gog anymore but not mentioning they edited the matter or anything

It's been delisted for everyone.
For now we'll have to wait and see if it turns up again closer to or on the 26th of June.

T-Minus 60 minutes.
Two years later, and is anyone waiting aside from Swedrami?

Me. I'd really love to see this H.E.R.O.-like game here.
Some time later then, I guess.

Well, back to sit and wait.
