This seems like something that deserves a "full page ad" on the home page, similar to System Shock 2 and No Man's Sky. Only downside is shoving "regular" window for other games (currently rotating Tangledeep, Sherlock Holmes, etc.) downward, giving them less likelihood to be seen.

I used to do reenactment many years back, my sister still dabble though

I never did or liked reenactment but was a sword fencer (Langes Messer and Langes Schwert) and trainer for some years, which is why I followed the development of this game somewhat.

I just hope that this is just the first of many games with a proper sword fighting system.

It looks interesting. A bit like the myth that is bannerlord was supposed to be. So am a bit torn, might just wait and see what the reviews are like as often these new games take years to get playable, NMS for instance.

Though I'm not sure what to think of the 2 week "delay" for the drm-free version. I mean, the devs basically tell us "Hey, we think drm is bad, but let's first make sure for 2 weeks, that it really doesn't get pirated and people will actually buy the game on Steam *wink*.


I don't have that much time these days to play video games all the times, so I usually buy games late on sale and don't miss out on anything really. So I really would not care about it releasing 2 weeks later, it just feels so bad!

If you come at me and ask: Would you like to see fRed Dead Redemption 2 on GOG ? (if it releases 1 month after steam (that get's released probably 1 year after consoles...)) I'm not sure what my answer would be.

Yes, I like to play the game without any bs attached to it, no I don't want feel like a 2nd class citizen, because the developers think DRM is actually useful and great, but they want to make some additional money with a few gog sales.

Agreed, so long as they don't pull the "we have to updated the drm free version much later than the drm version, or maybe not at all" thing that some publisers seem inclined toward.

But yeah presuming they don't do that I'd generally count it as a win also.
If nothing else we're gaining ground at least, 14 days is much better than 14 months ;)

Biomutant is due out this year as well, and will hopefully launch here, and I'm still waiting for Tokyo Xanadu eX+ to arrive since Aksys said (and I'm sure Falcom insisted) they were bringing it to GOG.

Pretty sure X4, Darksiders III, and Metro Exodus are going to make us wait though...

I'll be definitely getting this whenever I get a new laptop/PC that's able to play it. Happy to see the game on GOG!

I don't know about Darksiders, THQ Nordic has been pretty good about releasing here on release day (or close to it).

This is a beyond stupid post... and worse you are posting the same shit on Steam to the developer. Way to give them a reason not to bring more games here and with posting shit like this I can't blame them.

IMO this game looks awful and mind-numbingly boring. I don't see how it could possibly be worth $59.99 USD.

But I'm glad it's on GOG solely because it helps to set the precedent that DRM doesn't do jack to reduce piracy and therefore all publishers should put their new games DRM-free on GOG.
