Get ready, because Keep the Keep from Meridian4 is coming soon on GOG! And while you wait – don’t forget to try out the free demo!

Keep the Keep is a strategic turn-based puzzle game to play with your friends; your quest is to build towers and destroy your Opponent’s Keep in a fast-paced turn-based combat gameplay, while also being able to solve some riddles on your own.

Coming soon on GOG!
I assume the in dev tag means you're not only gonna add the full release, but it's been on steam since july 2021, quite a delay. at least I found out about it, missed it on steam. looks like it could be a decent.
Looks like updates stopped in May of last year...might be one of those permanently in-dev games.

Quite possible.

Quote from the game's page:
"The towers you pick before the battle are kept secret until built on the field.

Turns are done simultaneously, so every turn brings an opportunity to force your Opponent to guess what kind of tower you will build this time"

That sounds definitely NOT like a hot-seat MP game, but like an online-MP game...yet the page doesn't mention Galaxy (or being online in general) as requirement to play MP.
There is a demo.... It's strictly a SP campaign, where you're limited to a handful of stages at the beginning. When you finish, it makes a reference to multiplayer being a feature in the full game.
