Hopefully this has a special cameo from Mayor Mike Haggar.
Hopefully this game is more competent than its eponymous detective!
Oh this is cool!
This is a brand new game, right?
Not a classic / console port / remake whatever?
*confused*

This should be a new game, just like the Smurfs one.
The French (Microids publisher) are quite active nowadays and releasing many games around old, beloved characters or things, like Asterix & Obelix, Arcanoid etc.
Had to chuckle seeing Haim Saban get a, admittedly deserved, specific credit for the theme, the man knows his way around branding.
I wonder if this is going to have English voice acting and if so if there's going to be a Don Adams impersonation?
Art direction looks a bit rough, that half-assed 'black lines around the characters' effect is annoying and doesn't work. Commit to ink lines all around or don't bother.

Still, game could be alright. I'm not sure I can do Inspector Gadget without Don Adams though.

Looking at screenshots, there seems to be local multiplayer mode for 4 (?) players. I also see Lucky Luke cowboy in there.

Also, the text says:
Have fun with family and friends in Multiplayer mode.

From what I can gather it looks like it will have "party game" like gameplay style.

Kind of reminds me of the Ratchet and Clank All 4 One game.

When he's given a task, the task is practically guaranteed to be successfully completed. That's very high competency right there.
The fact that he, in practice, needs help in order to succeed, isn't relevant. Because those helpers don't need to be budgeted, paid for, or accounted for logistically, in any way by the agency assigning him his tasks. It's a package deal at no extra cost or handling.

Looks like there's a version for the Nintendo Switch.

This makes zeros sense without any accompanying examples of what you mean.
