Get ready for an engaging exploration game and check the Find Your Indie Sale on GOG that will last until 1st August 2022, 10 PM UTC.
Looks REALLY promising, hope it holds up to the first one.
I hope it won't be like the first one cause HW left much to be desired. Such a great opportunity ruined by details.
So, I hope it'll be more like their Phantom Doctrine, which was a great XCOM-like game with unique settings.

Also made me realise once again that the "Weird West" genre resp. setting seems to be undergoing a bit of a Renaissance lately?

Hard West 2
Weird West
Desperados III
West of Dead

Blood West
Evil West

ExeKiller
Exoplanet: First Contact

From the sounds of it, this should play a tad differently from the first game.
I played the first title and found it very entertaining. I hope this second installment keeps the gameplay and innovates (some more) the mechanics. To the wish list.

The text doesn't really give answers to my concerns. One of the biggest problems with HW1 was the fact that every map was basically a "New game" - you didn't have weapons you got in the last mission, you didn't have abilities from the previous mission... Everything was meaningless. No resources or anything to care about...
And the story was even worse. I played just that first scenario about the family of farmers (If I remember right) - and after every new mission, I had a feeling like there are at least 5 or 6 missions missing in-between because the story and characters' behaviour didn't make sense.
Really looking forward to this - and really hoping that the lack of Linux icon on the game page is just an oversight, with it being added at release time. (Anyone heard anything for certain about Linux availability?)

I enjoyed the hell out of the original game, and donated it, and/or its DLC, to the community giveaway quite a lot over the years to let others enjoy the experience as well. Here's to hoping that the 2nd game will inspire me to do the same! :)

Really enjoyed the first one. Very pleasantly surprised to hear of a sequel. Definitely looking forward to it.
Now this is a thing I could almost have pre-bought.

Hard West is one of the best games on GOG.

That's quite bold statement but fine game nevertheless.

Wow, had the first game in my wishlist for a while..... should probably remedy that.
Is it just me, or is GOG REALLY ramping up the releases lately? I'm seeing more and more new releases hitting GOG which makes me happy, because I can buy them DRM free. Not sure what they've done, but lets hope the developers play nice and keep their games updated here as they do on Steam. I love being able to buy my games here.
