GOG.com: Coming soon: Geneforge 2 - Infestation
For a moment, I was wondering..."don't I have this game already?"

Then I saw: Geneforge 2 – Infestation is a total remaster of our 2003 cult-classic Geneforge 2.

I absolutely get the disappointment, but having seen his rationale in the past, it does make sense. He's trying to keep his catalogue relevant for as long as possible and for as many customers as possible. That and, if memory serves, he's only planning on doing one or two more big new releases before he retires (So, probably finishing out the Queen's Wish series). I'd have to go dig through the backlog of his blog to confirm that, though.
I'm glad for it. The old games were running on a somewhat old engine, and there's a lot of 2000s clunk that goes with that.

Yes, he has mentioned that he planned to make one new game, then a remake, and so on. Which is good news, since he still has many good games in his catalogue worth having a remake.
Nice.

The only games I enjoyed as a Magical Trevor character.
Really excited for this. I would have backed the Kickstarter, but my budget just wouldn't allow it at the time. Vogel's games have always provided a great value for money, and I'm sure GF2 isn't going to disappoint.
