Four THQ Nordic heavy hitters.

A quartet of hotly anticipated THQ Nordic games is coming soon, DRM-free to GOG.com. All games will be available on GOG.com on their respective release dates.

This is the Police II: As the sequel to one of the most gritty crime thrillers of last year, it promises to bring even more dramatic decisions, questionable methods of law enforcement, and violent bloodletting, this time set in the cold, unforgiving North.

Darksiders III: Taking over from her brothers War and Death, the agile Fury unleashes herself upon The Seven Deadly Sins, determined to whiplash some balance back into this wretched world. Hack-n-slash action peppered with platforming antics and puzzles, all done in the stunning signature artstyle of the series? Yes, please.

Fade to Silence: A survival RPG channeling that unmistakable The Thing ambiance. Become the leader of a damned group of survivors, scrounging for supplies in a frozen wasteland where terrible horrors roam and the cold never lets up.

Biomutant: Small, agile, genetically flexible and a master of the martial arts. Your tiny warrior is ready to roam this beautiful but cruel post-apocalyptic world seeking his destiny, the next helpful mutation, or a sweet piece of gear.

ThomNG: Great to see our upcoming jewels on GOG soon :) Hope you like it as well!
First of all compliments for your commitment to distribute your top games in DRM-free version immediately upon launch.

While we're at it, given that you are expanding, and that you will also take care of many new ip, I would like to ask you if you plan to add support to the achievements of GOG Galaxy in your future titles, and perhaps add it to your titles already present on GOG. There is also a wishlist here on GOG that is growing day by day that makes the same request.

I think it's a small and relatively simple addition that would make many people very happy.
Personally I would start again for the fifth time Darksiders even just to complete them! :D

Thank you for your attention and good work!
PC Gamer shows a little bit more about Biomutant. Looks quite interesting so far.

a question:

if i preorder a big box retail version of the collector's edition for biomutant, will i be able to redeem it here, on gog?

SeduceMePlz: Biomutant looks interesting. Glad to know it's coming to GOG. Thanks, Nordic. :)
Yeh I intend to buy Biomutant on release 1. Cause it looks great and 2. Cause THG Nordic had the sense to release it day 1 DRM free on GOG.
I did the same thing and paid a little more for Darksiders 3 on GOG than on Steam so hopefully my voting with my wallet encourages best practice.

On a side note to THQ if they are listening. I have bailed (yes really) on games I used to always buy like AssCreed and Battlfield etc etc due to microtransactions. So hopefully you guys keep up the right attitude much like Sega seem to be trying to do. I hope more people vote with their wallets now and hold off the death of the medium.
KUDOS THQ, CD Projekt etc!!!

HunchBluntley: Good thing for you, then, that THQ Nordic is Nordic Games dressed up in their THQ duds that they bought a couple years ago. The only relation to the old, dead THQ is that Nordic now owns their assets that they hadn't yet sold off, and gets to use the name for the broader recognition that it brings. :)
A lot of the devs that lost their jobs got rehired though with the new owners so in a way you are still supporting the same hardworking people to continue the stories they started. THQ Nordic's Darksiders team are most (just not the heads of) the staff from the old THQ, well so they claim.

NECRO!

So Fade to Silence has an official release date! April 30th sees it leave early access and release on console, so let's hope she's here right around that time!

When this announcement / thread first showed up, Fade to Silence was the one I was most interested in. Sort of like Long Dark but mixed with creepy monsters, expeditions that have to be planned out and companions that I think drive stat growth and crafting. All in a really pretty action RPG sort of package. Biomutant was a close (ish) second.

So yeah - just doing my part to build hype - I've been a big fan of what THQ's been doing and the respect they show GoG. And like I said, loved the look of the game. I kept stalking a release date (at this point I actually thought it'd be closer to Holiday) and when I busted out my search-foo today I found that they just put it up a few days ago.
