A new breed of space game.

EVERSPACE, an intense roguelike space shooter is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Everything in EVERSPACE is meant to be spectacular. It presents a vision of space a far cry from the desolate expanses we're so used to – instead, offering up beauty that's hard to match, tons of surprises, and easy-to-pick-up action gameplay worthy of the coolness we expect from space combat.

With feedback from 10,000 testers in the closed beta, the project has already seen it's share of improvements – including a significant content update for it's launch in development. Still, ROCKFISH Games already have a plan for new content (including new ships, layers, and fully voice-acted non-linear story) and updates all the way up until the release. For a closer look at the development process, check out the recently-gone-public Alpha and Beta forums on the developer's website.

Discover a procedurally generated, roguelike galaxy unlike any other in EVERSPACE, coming soon to GOG.com!

Will this be available on Steam? Because I will definitely buy it there over GOG. GOG have proven that they are unprofessional, and lack any sort of customer service. I am, of course, referring to their handling of No Man's Sky at launch, and the days following. There is still no patch available for GOG users, Steam users have had 4 so far. So Fuck you guys, you deserve all the bad publicity you get. It's coming in a big way, so get ready.
Feonix, could you please not drag off-topic rants here into a thread about EVERSPACE?

Hi!
The level of butthurt from feonix is laughable, I could retort but you know the old saying, you can't argue with stupid....
I'm afraid feonix does give steam users a bad name with his infantile behavior. Makes me even more glad that I don't use that platform.

As for this game. It does look a little "arcadey" with it's visuals, but might actually be surprisingly good. Nothing wrong with making a decent single player space combat sim. Reminds me a little of Star Conflict, which people can always play if they want to go down the MMO route.

So I'll put this on my wishlist :)
Has anyone heard or seen something about a release date?

The main website allows some kind of preorder which says 9/2016, but I assume that won't be the finished game. Maybe early access/late beta in September?

actually that is my true weakness anything space...
very likely will buy...

I really hate any mmo stuff it almost always is built for "multiplayer" and never the single player experience.
I keep odd hours in my line of work so ... single player is usually what I play..

Unless of course I want to try to learn french again sigh.... about only people awake at this time.

hi, i read the min sytem for this game and i wondered if it was correct, lucky for me i cant play 3d games (because of motions) but my old system would not be able to run it because of the required minimum GPU

i see : CPU Core i3 which is old and quite cheap, the GPU seems to be newer and quit expensive
so i wonder why people would buy a i3 or use a quite expensive gpu in a old system?

http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/NVIDIA+GeForce+GTX+480/review
and the lowest price (maybe it has changed by now) was $514 which will also buy a decent gpu card and a i5 at least...

didnt check radeon prices cause i been buying nvidia gpu for years , and same goes for intel mobos instead of other brands
