Maybe something similar to In Extremo's cameo concert appearance in the German/European version of the original Gothic?
If Piranha Bytes/THQ Nordic could commission Jonathan Davis to contribute that one(?) original song for one of the cinematic trailers, they perhaps were able to somehow get Billy Idol on board as well.
Could also be that THQ Nordic has some good connections to major labels or the music industry in general (or just a ton of money) to strike this kind of deals. So that you have, for instance Crypto lip-synching to Rammstein in the trailers for the Destroy All Humans remasters.
