Sole survivor, cursed with second sight.

Don't Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland is coming soon, DRM-free.

Earth is past midnight and David appears to be the last pixelated man standing. Maybe. He's got to survive four days and four nights, solve puzzles, make the right calls, and figure out what the heck caused this catastrophe in the first place.

The one screenshot looks interesting - unfortunately I can't reach the game's page to see more...

Edit: let's try these links until GOG is fixed:

yup it does, i watched the trailer, searched for more but no longer videos then this one , guess we have to wait
the story is intriguing , wishlisted.

" Survive through four days at the end of the world in this post-apocalyptic point-and-click thriller where your choices could keep you alive... or not. "

games with doomed planets (earth) seems to be popular,
another game i found on Steam: also about doom: Guard Duty
are they trying to tell us something ? about earth going boom and bye bye ?
:D

Guard Duty on Steam ( coming soon(2019)

Guard Duty is a comedy adventure about love, loss and the end of the world. Experience an unforgettable story spanning across two radically different time periods.

game looks interesting , they tried to give it a classic pixel look like the old KQ games and its 2d which is always nice,if its not to expensive i might buy it, i hope they release a short demo so i can see what the game is like, first looks make it look like niche, i and love niche games ●‿●
This looks awesome and will be a definite instabuy.
"A bizarre cataclysmic event that cracked the moon in half" ? What's with the Cowboy-Bebop-obsessed releases, lately ?
Define coming soon because I've had this sitting in my Steam wishlist for like a year now or longer
Kudos for the Blue Oyster Cult reference in the OP.
So, if anyone is interested, here are some direct links to the previous three games in the Don't Escape series, which are all playable for free in your browser:

Don't Escape:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/619697

Don't Escape 2:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/653016

Don't Escape 3:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/661412

They're all fairly short, and can be completed in less than an hour each, but it's probably a good starting point if you're curious about the series and want to know more about what the fourth game is likely to be. None of them are related in story, so it doesn't really matter what order you play them in, and it doesn't seem like the fourth game has any relation to the stories of the previous three.

The first one is about being a werewolf and finding ways to slow yourself down when you eventually transform, so that your feral form wastes a bunch of time and energy instead of running off and hunting people in the nearby village.

The second one is about surviving an impending undead horde, while deciding on what to do with the other survivors.

The third game is a sort of murder-mystery on a spaceship.

if you must survive an impending undead horde, you need strength i guess and endurance, so you need food, maybe use a few of the survivors as food to keep strenght up to defeat the horde ( maybe impossible cause you cant kill whats already dead, maybe fire might clear them cause fire is a way to clean) so you might be able to save the rest of the survivors. ?

There may very well be some moral choices to make within the second game, yes. There are several ways to make it through the impending encounter, and you may need to play through it a few times and try different things if you want to save everyone. That's not to say that you have to save everyone; other people will make for a good distraction if all you want do is save yourself, after all.

You might as well give it a try, if you haven't already checked it out. You've got nothing to lose except the time spent playing it. You can't beat free.
