Dray2k: EDIT: Took me 5 seconds to find it again: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1933650/The_Imperial_Gatekeeper/ this stuff will never not be funny to me.
Interesting. Might even show up here, too, since it's being handled by Kagura.

Trooper1270: "Coming Soon" seems quite appropriate for this game, no ?... :p
right, "No Doubt".
YES!, Insta-bought, well, once it releases of course! :P
Thanks for bringing this to us, both GoG and Alicesoft!

Also, nice to see a bunch of new games on the front page again!

TheGrimLord: The sequel does have mosaics. Just keep that in mind. This didn't bother me, but it might upset some of you. I thought it was a pretty fun game from what I played of it.
Pretty sure all Japanese porn is required to have mosaics by law.

That doesn't mean they would also have to censor the game when it's sold outside of Japan.

They could easily make two versions: the censored version for Japan, and the uncensored version for every other region.

Therefore, there is no still excuse for them imposing such censorship all across the world by only having one censored version of the game.

My wishful thinking dream would be for them to release Dohna Dohna (Let's Do Bad Things Together) here. Will never happen though. Currently only been released in English on Johren (NOT MangaGamer) and has a 3 key system where each installation requires a new key. They *can* be reclaimed but it's too reminiscent of the bad old days of SecuROM style limited activations

It's nice to see GOG keeping up here and there with these types of games. If possible, I'd like to see if they can look into the recent Dungeon Traveler 2 complication where Steam decided it was necessary to block/ban a PS Vita game with an actual Western release back in 2015. Real shame since it's apparently a very good DRPG and the few Vita holdovers at this point.

milkymylk: Awesome, thank you GOG and Alicesoft! I didn't think we'd get this here because Alicesoft decided to self publish.

I personally prefer the look and attitude of the main character of this one. idk, maybe it's a woman thing, but the first game's protag was such a "young man full of energy ;)" caricature. He was cute, but kind of annoying lol.
I don't know much about the second game's protag but hopefully he's different enough.

milkymylk: Only if sold within Japan.
If it's sold outside Japan, sometimes the original artists are willing to provide the non-mosaiced art. Other times, the publishers pay for someone to "demosaic" the art by painting over the mosaics.

However, some artists/devs are so scared of being punished that they refuse to release the demosaiced versions, and disallow official demosaic paint overs. Likely what's happened with this game - Alicesoft self published, and are in Japan.

Another thing that can lead to mosaiced releases is... it's simply cheaper to not pay for demosaicing.
I'm pretty sure this has more to do with japanese developers being greedy and afraid of losing out on local sales if they release the uncensored versions in the west because then japanese players could hop onto a VPN and buy or pirate the superior uncensored version.
Quelle surprise!
Nice to see this title is coming to GOG!

I HOPE FOR RANCE NEXT!

What he said ^

Also, yeah Alicesoft is cool about working with western publishers post Dohna Dohna, but they're not going to release demosaic versions of their games anymore. Their latest game, (which came everywhere, so it might be on GOG soon too) A Housewife's Healing Touch also released with full mosaic.

Don't get your hopes up. I'm just going to say this three times for emphasis:

You have no idea how bad Jast wants that game.
You have no idea how bad Jast wants that game.
You have no idea how bad Jast wants that game.

I remember when it had come out and Blood could not stop talking about it. He wants that game so bad, but DMM is not budging on it. They're really trying to hold onto that one. It also has freaking Denuvo regardless of the DRM-Free Japanese exe.

Looking forward to it.

Gonna have to finish the first one though (up to the zombie village).
Evenicle 1 is the best H game I've played in terms of story, interface, dialogue (love the dialogue and the voice actresses) (I also liked the dialogue in a Kagura game, Lelie Navigation).

I liked Ramius and Riche best in Evenicle 1, but that is just a personal preference I guess.

That and a GOG release of Duel Princess would be neat to see, especially since the game is on Nintendo Switch, but Valve refused the Steam version from launching. It's on DLSite, but dealing with that is a pain and a half.
