A dynamic and brutal gridless tactical turn-based RPG where moral choices during battle influence the gameplay – BEAST is coming soon to GOG!

Long presumed dead, a veteran returns from a 10-year-long Ottoman slavery. His Carpathian homeland is feebly reigned by the demented prophet-king, its lands ruined by raiders and cursed with a hellish plague. Everything he loved and cherished is either gone or has changed beyond recognition. All he has left is his soldiers’ loyalty – and a holy quest to end the plague. Facing hordes of enemies as well as his inner demons, you must help him see it through no matter the cost!

Expect an atmospheric, story-rich grimdark world inspired by Carpathian legends, brutal and dynamic melee-focused combat, and a unique inner Beast system, where you decide whether to exercise or exorcize it.

BEAST – soon on GOG!
Was hoping this would get a release here, cheers.
Awesome, wishlisted it the moment I spotted it.

"Broadband Internet connection" as a requirement? Er... That doesn't sound right. It is DRM-free, right?
Maybe just to facilitate (optional) cloud saving?

That would only be an actual requirement if cloud saving would be the only way to save, hence DRM...

there's no reason to expect drm-free games on gog anymore, they stopped giving a fuck about their only unique selling point a long time ago.

Two or three years ago, GOG changed their definition of DRM-free, and to them, DRM-free now means "singleplayer is available to play offline."

And they likewise announced, a long time ago, that GOG will be selling online-only games.

Although since this game is currently listed as being "Singleplayer" on the GOG store page, then that, combined with the internet connection requirement, is still not compatible with GOG's "new definition" of DRM-free.
Error 37 !
Too bad, there's some sweet Black Metal playing in the trailers, was hoping for similar music in game, but there isn't. :(
Oh well, might still get the game, but for now I'll wishlist it.

It's just copy-pasted requirements from Steam. Far from the first time this has happened, and no, none of the other supposed "broadband required" games had DRM. Not that it makes much sense for Steam either, unless it's in the sense of "broadband required so it doesn't take forever to download 40GB".
