Frostyfirefly: Yes! I actually never got to play this, played the first one though; and yet, I always wanted to play this one specifically, because I heard that you could unlock Drizzt and Artemis as playable characters :-)
I mean, Drizzt was already unlockable in the first Dark Alliance...

Really!? I didn't know that, I'm going to look into it, wow, all these years and I didn't know :-/
I'm confused, are these old BG hack&slash PS2 spinoffs ported to pc?

If I remember correctly, you have to beat the campaign, which should unlock the Gauntlet (a special dungeon which you have to play through as Drizzt); assuming you make it through that, he becomes available to play through the main campaign with. (I'm operating off of mostly 15-year-old memories, but I played that game a lot, so I'm pretty sure that's the case.)

Xiyng: It's fine, you just can't wishlist the game. When you click to wishlist the game, it asks for your password, but it doesn't end up on your wishlist anyway. You've got to navigate to the game via some other link or strip off everything from the URL starting with the first question mark.
Originally the link was broken. It wouldn't take you to the game page. GOG fixed it soon after I posted yesterday.

This game was originally only released for PS2 and XBox.

[I deleted the link to wiki - seems like the forum doesn't like it)

I see, thanks for the information!

Yes. Though at least the first game was multiplatform -- PlayStation 2, original Xbox and GameCube (with a version also apparently made for the Game Boy Advance); this sequel only got PS2 and Xbox versions (till now, obviously).

I'm looking at the list of Interplay titles from that era that were only on consoles. I'd like to see some additional titles get a PC release.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel
Hunter: The Reckoning

Unfortunately, since both were licensed titles, that would require Interplay to re-license the rights to use those IPs again. I don't know about White Wolf, but I'm guessing Bethesda and/or their new masters at Microsoft wouldn't be real keen to let the former IP owner re-release an old spinoff on their own.

Maybe we can get lucky. I figure Interplay had to re-license Forgotten Realms to re-release the Dark Alliance games. I would have expected that to get denied considering how bad that new Dark Alliance game is.

There was also a cheat code to just use him without beating the game on the PS2 version. It's probably in the port as well.
Just saw it swipe by at the top of the front page, but it's not available just yet.

From what I heard these re-releases are to set the stage for Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 3's release in 2023. I'd guess to coincide with Larian's Baldur's Gate 3.
