If you’re in a mood for a sci-fi sandbox game, we might have something just for you – Astro Colony, straight from Terad Games, is coming soon on GOG!

Astro Colony is a 3D sandbox set in space, where you get to explore the endless Universe and create the most efficient constellation of colonies. As a player, you’ll build conveyor systems to automate production, take care of Astronauts and their needs, and establish new colonies as part of intergalactic simulation.

Soon on GOG!

Time to colonize the forum...
I have had this on the other store for a bit now, and it is a quite nice factory game. it is a little bit different in that your main base is basically a spaceship, so after you have reserched space angines you are moveable. so instead of factory games like Satisfactory, where you usually pipe products / materials into a central point, you instead take your whole base and go hunting for the resources you need to progress.

There is also a bit management sim involoved, as oyou need to hire and keep other people do work for you, so you need to have water and food production, as well as space for them the learn and relax. It is not a heavy part of the game, but it manes it is not only a pure resources-->procutions-->research-->new resources loop.

Like most of these games, it does start out very slow, but as soon as you get some automated meteor catchers, atumated iron production and the sngines allowing you to go to the planetoids to harvest resources, it scales up very nicely and it is fun to create this massive spaceship-factory going around capturing planetoids to harvest and expand.

That looks and sounds quite nice. There's a demo for it on Steam so I'll give that a whirl. :) Looking at the existing roadmap, this may not be out for a while yet though - late 2023 or beyond.
