And here, we have something for rally fans! Do you remember the incredibly aesthetic rally game, art of rally? Well, better get ready, because its newest DLC, art of rally: australia, is coming soon on GOG!

art of rally is a stylized experience inspired by the golden era of rally, where you race across the world through colorful, aesthetic environments in a top-down view. You can experience the gameplay in the special Career mode, travelling across 60 stages from Finland to Sardinia, Norway, Japan and Germany. With art of rally: australia DLC though, you’ll get a chance to explore a whole new surroundings of Australia.

So is this game nowadays actually incompatible with Windows 7 and does it still lack the view mode from behind the wheel?

Idk about windows support but yes it does lack a cockpit or hood or bumper view. If you search around, you may find a mod that adds a bumper view but I haven't tried any of these.

What really kills the game for me is the physics though.

Is it? i have been playing it on 7 without issues including the indonesia update. but dunno if they may have dropped support later one? i wouldn't know why though since the engine is perfectly fine for what it is supposed to do so i dont see a reason to change the engine to exclude win7.

been playing on a setup with ryzen 1700, geforce 1660ti and soundblaster x-fi ti.
