Iconic title returns in a spectacular way! Amnesia: The Bunker, straight from Frictional Games, is coming soon on GOG!

Amnesia is one of the most legendary horror titles. It’s about to come back though, with a new addition to the franchise – Amnesia: The Bunker. The new arrival will, of course, explore further the genre of first-person horror, though this time it’s going to be set in a desolate World War 1 Bunker. You’ll get a chance to face the oppressing terrors stalking the dark corridors; search for and use the tools and weapons at your disposal, while keeping the lights on at all costs. Once again, you’ll be challenged to overcome fear, persevere, and make your way out alive.

If we look past the dry and uninspiring mess they recently made, Frictional Games is perhaps one of the best horror-studio out there. I just hope they return to what they were good at; creating a dark, lonely and mysterious atmosphere.

Definitely a wishlist material for now.

We don't need the source code. The PC version works just fine (provided you use mods) it's a rights issue regarding the voice actors.

Do you mean the last Amnesia game Rebirth? Yeah that turned me off from what I saw, and has me wondering if this new game is going to be better. But obviously The Dark Descent is legendary and Penumbra series so underrated.

I quite liked Rebirth, but I was underwhelmed how all the previously-described "impossible geometry" was quite basic and very possible. I wish they tried to implement some visual geometric illusions.

SOMA is still my favourite though.

By reviews and gameplays I've watched, this is nothing like Rebirth, their last game.
This looks more like the original Amnesia: Dark Descent, which is the best in the series, in my opinion, albeit more intense and scarier, because of how the map design was masterfully done.

Glad its coming here soon. Huge hit GOG, and thanks to Frictional Games for their long term support with all the Amnesia series here on GOG.
