More content on the way for the best House Party that you’ve ever been to! 2 DLCs, Winter Holiday Pack and Halloween Holiday Pack for House Party are coming soon to GOG!

You know it and you love it. This hysterical, funny, hot and story-rich 3D adventure game is all about player choice and partying the way you want. There are hundreds of different stories, side-quests, and narratives, and thousands of branching stories and dynamic elements. And to make things even better, you can now explore all its crazy characters and wild interactions with a -40% NSFW Week discount which lasts until January 30th, 11 PM UTC!

But about the DLCs: both Winter Holiday Pack and Halloween Holiday Pack are free, permanent versions of limited-time seasonal events for House Party from 2022 that will now be equipped with a new toggle on/off feature, so you can enjoy the holiday cosmetics throughout the year whenever you desire.

Winter Holiday Pack brings Christmas lights, pine garlands, ornaments, falling snow, Christmas-themed hats, holiday sweaters, and a short side-story quest featuring “Santa” Frank.

Halloween Holiday Pack on the other hand offers petrifying seasonal decorations (like for example pumpkins, spooky ghosts or a cheap skeleton), scary outfits (like succubus/incubus costume), creepy critters and more! All within the festive, autumn spirit.

Make sure to wishlist those DLCs so you won’t miss their release. Fa-boo-lous and ho-ho-hot fun are on their way!
Free content is always a plus.
Just in time for Halloween and the holidays!
These were "patched in at a specific time and patched out after"core game updates. This explains why I had a hell of a time discerning characters from one another when I first started playing: The holiday update was still in, so all the girls were wearing the same sweater.
This game has had a looooong road to go and it is getting better and better. Female protagonist, additional story DLC and now even free DLCs. Thank you Eek! games.
Any attempt at aping a style of movie is always going to be met with criticism but I wonder if they managed to get the 90's comedy feel right?

It's not really 90s, mostly contemporary humor, maybe 10 years ago.

The "Free DLCs" are their way to handle the christmas and halloween decorations which I find rather ..meh. They could have been part of the main game with an option to turn them on or off. Hopefully that option will be in the game once the DLCs have been released. Those without Galaxy would have to reinstall the game to get rid of them.
... on a second thought there HAS to be an option, otherwise the changes would collide if both got installed.

Updata: Tere seems to be a ingame toggle indeed, so I take back my criticism.

I wonder why it was advertised as aping 90's comedy movies?
I don't remember that add.
Anyway, it may have been the intention and maybe it still is, but I don't really get a 90s vibe from the game.
Sometimes writing and design go in a different direction as planned.

Also the item and topics in the game are not 90s at all. They talking about a contemporary music group, everyone has smartphones (one task is to break into one), there's a WLAN router, a Mac laptop, a camera with SD card,...
True, Patrick these days would probably be in Jail for his Website. You could call that retro design.
