So seeing "simulator" mentioned in a few new releases recently brought back nostalgia for those 90s flight and racing simulators of my youth. Here's a list of a few titles I've been hoping will make an appearance on GOG.

Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix series 1-4
Grand Prix Legends
Papyrus Indycar 2
Mobil 1 Rally Championship
Toca 2

EDIT: Richard Burns Rally". another classic title. Thanks to BreOl72 for the reminder

and for more arcade action Revolt, Monster Truck Madness and Destruction Derby....

Flight sims:

European Air War ( Released on GOG 02/2021)
Mig Alley
Combat Flight Simulator 2
Jane's USAF
Jane's WWII Fighters
F22 Lightning 2
Tornado

EDIT 2: Would be great if 'Battle of Britain II: Wings of Victory' available from a2asimulations and "Strike Fighters 2" available from Thirdwire productions found their way onto GOG.

Sim Ant

That really was a fun game.
Anything that uses the trademarks of real vehicle companies is going to be a pain to get here, as most likely the license(s) have expired and the owners are not interested in renewing or setting up new licenses. TOCA 3 was here but had to be removed because the car licenses expired, can't imagine TOCA 2 still being valid.
Colin Mcrae Rally 2.0 and Mobil 1 Rally Championship
Probably will never happen, but it would be nice to get them on GOG.
Some of Novalogic's old sim games would be a real treat. Novalogic's F-16 used to be my jam back in the day! Looked glorious on my 8MB Voodoo2

Of all the aforementioned games, GOG would have the hardest time trying to renew the licences needed for GPL (and to a lesser degree the GC:GP series). Think about it: even Papyrus had a hard time acquiring the licences needed for the Honda RA300 & the Cooper T81 back then. Other than that, licences would be needed from the rest of the F1 teams as well as the tracks, drivers and whatnot. And for what? GPL didn't sell well back then, mainly due to its realism and the inherent difficulty of driving those cars; i doubt it would sell well today, so much as to generate profit for GOG.

Don't get me wrong, GPL is my favourite racing sim and i would be the first one to buy a digital version (to go along the other 3 retail versions i already own), but i don't see it happening. And sadly enough, all of the above usually apply to all licenced games.

What i suggest, is to track down a retail version copy(-ies) and use that to play the game(s).

As for the combat flight sims, thankfully we have two of the best here: IL-2 1946 (original known as IL-2 Sturmovik) and Falcon Collection (read Falcon BMS: https://www.gog.com/forum/falcon_collection/falcon_bms_434_by_benchmark_sims); if you didn't play them already, definitely check them out.

I'm sure, you meant "Sim Copter". ;)

Edit:
On a more serious note:

The one Simulation that I really would love to see here (but which probably won't ever come) is:

"Richard Burns Rally".

I loved that game. Even more than Colin McRae Rally, though I played those games, too, of course.
