Matewis: He owned that role yes, but I don't think we'll see another middle earth film for a loooong time. I've never read the The Silmarillion though, so I can't say I have any idea whether or not a good film is hiding in there.
I got all 5 of the essential Middle Earth books. (LOTR, Hobbit, Hurin, Unfinished Tales, and Silmarrilion)

I would be reading them now but I dedicated this month to watching everything Star Trek. I just finished the entire TOS era of Star Trek.

Snif, the greatest actor of British horror is no more.

My favorite movie with him was his collaboration with Mario Bava, one of the best Italian director, for "The Whip And The Body", a classic gothic SM horror tale. I think I'm gonna rewatch it this week-end....
