wagnershinn: The store page says "Offer ends on: 23/01/2024 09:59 EET", but no discount.
At the sale's page, you can find it with the discount.
Well, kinda confusing...
I'm almost impressed with how they manage two have two different prices as that doesn't seem like it should be possible, but GOG is nothing if not creative in finding new ways to break things.

g2222: Errrm...
ESG =/= EGS
Not sure what you two are actually referring to.

EGS: Epic Game Store --or--
ESG: Environmental, social, and corporate governance?
I took to be a faux pas on the Epic Game Store abbreviation.
But who knows, I guess it could be anything, and I am certainly not claiming that EGS is subsidizing GOG, but they might be and probably should be, considering the impact of their war with Steam.

At least they are selling some of their games through GOG, in case that counts.
https://www.gog.com/en/games?developers=epic-games

And Epic Games Store is offering GOG Galaxy:

So there are obviously many connections, but not necessarily to the extent that is implied here.

I would add that Epic, as far as I can tell, does offer a lot more of their games without DRM than other storefronts, so they might be of more of a similar mind than other storefronts as well.

I'm not sure that is correct, because going by some lists on the web, Steam have plenty of these DRM-Free Lite games, just like Epic.

And ultimately it would likely be down to the game provider (DEV/PUB) whether a game has any DRM or not.

It is possible though, that those providers supporting Epic in their war against Steam, might be more DRM-Free friendly.

I've called for support and they solved it already!
