Hi everyone!

Just wanted to checkout three games, but neither in the client nor on the website it works. Website shows an image (small guy carrying the world on his shoulders :) ), client says the server takes too long to process the request.

Anyone with the same problems ? Workaround available ?

Cheers,
Sem

It means there is momentarily too much traffic for website to handle, it's not uncommon on GOG.

Just retry a bit later.
Thanks man. I'm a member here since over a year now, never experienced this before. So then, let's do something else (RL anyone ^^ ?) and try again later :)

Usually when that happens (though not always), it'll be working again within a few minutes. You shouldn't need to wait hours or anything. :)
If it does not fix itself, maybe you have an incompatible selection of items in your shopping cart. Incompatible as in the shopping system does not know how to process it.
Because I think that happened to me yesterday with a couple of games + Hotline Miami 2 + the HM2 free comic. The little man carrying the world came very quick and wouldn't go away until I removed the comic for that particular checkout.

Actually, you are the man :) That really solved the problem! I still had no success with the checkout, until I read your post and deleted "Tyrian 2000" from the basket (which I had there since quite some time). Now it worked, thanks man!
