Here’s some hot news – we have 2 new NSFW titles to announce today!

Dungeon Vixens: A Tale of Temptation – NOW OUT
It’s a dungeon-crawling roguelike adventure infused with retro graphics and filled with captivating monster girls. Assume the role of a solitary protagonist driven by the quest to reunite with their loved one.

LustyVerse: Passion on Display – COMING SOON
As a young college student, you live a mostly mundane life of studying, working and hanging out. However, that all changes when a new girl moves in next door. With her arrival, you start to spend your free time very differently, resulting in many dramatic and interesting twists and turns.

Check them out!

joveian: In case you (or anyone else reading) aren't aware, you can filter (most of) these games from individual searches by clicking the little eye to the right of NSFW under "tags" (searching tags if needed). Of course, GOG being GOG the tags are likely to have a nontrivial amount of randomness and I'm not sure if reporting missing or incorrect tags has ever helped, but the main thing that is missing is the ability to save such search modifiers (and list view) to use by default.
Honestly, I just wanted GoG to be more like Steam in this regard. Steam has a way bigger library of NSFW games and you seldom see people complaining. Why? Because you can opt out of it completely. I mean, it won't even show in your front page, whereas it will show in front pages of people that are logged in and have opted to see this kind of content.

It would make my life so much easier, and I'd like to promote GoG much more than I can because of these games.

Just let us filter and opt for parental control, GoG, just do it!

RafaelRamus: GoG, as usual, here is my request:
There have been more than 100 of these NSFW game release threads. Most of them got derailed with people not wanting these games and having more filters on GOG. There is a wishlist entry with more than 1000 votes. Here is what you guys have achieved so far and what GOG has changed since they started to sell these games:

That is all. Nothing. Whether some GOG staff members are reading this or not. It is absolutely futile and pointless what you are doing. All what you do is to derail the release threads where people might want to talk about the games instead. A small note. People got banned because of spam, thread derailment and fights in these NSFW threads. This is probably the fourth of even fifth thread I saw you posting this. Your posts in these threads are becoming more and more spam.

Obviously, we agree to disagree.

By definition, a spam is "an unsolicited message, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups".

I'm not doing any of such. I'm just asking, in response to something posted by GoG staff in the front page of the site, for a feature that is related to the product being sold.

All GoG staff needs to do for me to stop is to come and ask me to do so.

Before that, I'm going to keep asking on all relevant channels, including the Community Wishlist you mentioned and the releases that I'm forced to witness.

The topics of this thread are Dungeon Vixens: A Tale of Temptation and LustyVerse: Passion on Display and not filter options and parental control. You are derailing this thread. It is off-topic. It is spam. It's as simple as that.

I don't think so. I want to be able to filter out Dungeon Vixens and LustyVerse. So until GoG staff says otherwise, this is just your opinion.

Of course, you don't think so. You mentioned that you want to filter out NSFW games in several other threads. It is nothing new. Nothing has changed because of your posts. You are intentionally derailing the NSFW release threads. This is all what you are doing.

Says you. You're entitled to think what you want, just I'm entitled to my opinion that you're wrong.

If GoG staff asks me to stop, I'll stop. Until then I'll go on asking for such a nice feature that won't hurt any of you, but that will help those of us that want to avoid this content, that is, VNs and "games" such as Dungeon Vixens and LustyVerse.

No permanence. Also doesn't apply to the front page, sales, nor to browsing in general. Imagine if GOG had inline game card posting like [CERTAIN OTHER WEBSTORE] and someone thought it funny to slap in [I DON'T KNOW, BIBLE BLACK] into their post. Now, that game is very inappropro for most sane adults, nevermind the childrens. With the lack of filtering GOG currently shows, that'd expose the game to those who don't want to see it, and more importantly that the game would be exposed to those for whom it would be quite illegal to do so.

Adding a feature as quite respectfully requested by #14 would not only make allowances of their preference, but make a great CYA for GOG; preventing legal culpability.

And until such a feature is implemented by the GOG.com staff, I will take all the time I please to take shots at any release of theirs of this nature.

Of course, you will go on. You are an internet keyboard warrior on a mission. You will continue like the other people that got banned because of the very same reasons which I mentioned before. It is totally silly.

As I said before, if GoG asks me to stop it, I'll stop it. Until GoG staff says so, I have to assume you're just another internet keyboard warrior opposite to me. And if GoG decides to ban me before giving me any warnings, then I'm not welcome here and I'll just stop using the site, never to buy anything on it again.

I said this in another thread: I come here from a place of love for the site and the project. I honestly believe that GoG promoting this kind of content without giving the ability for users to opt out of this exposition harms the site in the long run. That's my opinion, and I'll keep expressing myself until GoG staff tells me to do otherwise.

Is it really necessary to get moderated for this? Or can't you just move on and leave the NSFW release threads for people who actually enjoy these games and maybe want to talk about them instead of seeing the same "discussions" over and over again.

Big boobs
Curation
Shovelware
Trash
RPGMaker
Art style sucks
Porn - internet - bad
Filters please

This is the summary of the past NSFW game release threads. It is ridiculous.

"your roommate. You've know her for so long, you practically see her as one of the boy's."

Grammar, dude. No apostrophy.

It's either that or an arid desert most of the time.

Now look, my original intention was to post a single comment and move on. You are the ones that can't leave my manifest alone. What this means is that you actually want to have this conversation, otherwise you would be wasting your free time doing something else!

And you know what, all of those problems you mentioned would be solved by adding filters and parental control. Just saying.

The person who is wasting their own time is actually you. I repeat myself. Here is what you guys have achieved so far and what GOG has changed since they started to sell these games:

That is all. Nothing. It doesn't help to regurgitate the same things again and again.

But you achieved something. You want to filter these games, right? With your posts, with your manifest and with the "discussions" about these games these threads get way more visibility in this forum. This is actually what you don't want.

That's a small price if in the end GoG decides to add filters and parental control. And if in the end this site becomes so filled with NSFW titles that you can't avoid getting in contact with them no matter what, well, at least I'll always know I tried.

Regarding what have or have not been achieved, you know, I've been around for long enough to know that things are not conquered in a day or two. It doesn't cost me much to post a comment here, it also harms no one except a few that want the thread clean of any criticism or simple requests like the one I'm making.
