Listen to the Trooper! For that price it's almost a steal. Dark atmosphere, beautiful comic style artwork and an awesome narration/commentary!

But this game is probably not made for you if you absolutely can't bear to eat dust and lose. Losing is part of the (great) experience. It's like in real life, sometimes two steps forward, one step back, sometimes just the opposite.

For the base game... that is a bonkers deal. Too bad there's no gold edition or DLC having similar discounts but the base game is good by itself!

And will there finally be an up-to-date version of Darkest Dungeon oder is this still the version that does not even properly support Xbox controllers and that is years behind the version that is being sold in other online stores?

Red Hook Studios does not care at all for the GOG version of the game - and they do not even respond to emails on that topic.

Exactly my thoughts. The GOG-version has been utterly out of date for years. GOG should be ashamed to promote this game in their sale. If they have any decency they would have removed it from their store a long time ago.
