Dogmaus: Smurfette is canon since ever and one of the most iconic characters. I saw a movie in the thratre avbout 5 years ago and there was I believe a new girl - I don't remember much.
Smurfette has been created by Gargamel in his lab.

BanditKeith2: Yes she was but prior to that if I recall right thier canonly was only stated to be male Smurfs so I am wondering how this female Smurf village is explained in canon as beig as I don't recall that village be a thing prior last I checked
Oh yeah, that was in the movie I saw too. They just exist, the same way the male Smurfs village exist. It's a child's show after all. You don't need to explain continuity to a crowd of shouting 5 years old. They'll just watch it 3 times in a day for months.

Fair enough though given the ip is so old its often wise to give a passable explanation for old and new fans .. As nostalgia is a strong way to get money and its best to please as many old fans and new fans as one can and not risk turning them off

The Smurfs - Mission Vileaf l Gameplay Trailer

Also, this new Marsupilami platformer doesn't look too shabby either. I guess with a release date of November 16th it's still a bit too far off for a "Coming soon to GoG"?

If it wasn't deliberately made to look so ugly, or if quality hasn't been dumped down because it's also released on one of the earlier generation consoles, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

MMM looks very interesting so I put that one on my wishlist for now.
