CD PROJEKT RED and GOG today announced that both companies will be participating in the “Playing for Türkiye and Syria” worldwide charity stream organized by Global Game Jam and Women in Games to support the ongoing relief efforts in the region.

The 24 hour-long stream will start on March 16th, 2023 at 11 AM CET / 10 AM GMT / 2 AM PST / 5 AM EST, and will see representatives from across the gaming industry livestream to raise money for the victims of the tragic events that took place across Türkiye and Syria in February. Viewers can expect live gameplay and chats with developers and streamers, giveaways, as well as other activities. Paweł Sasko, Quest Director at CD PROJEKT RED, will also make an appearance. The main stream will take place on the official Global Game Jam and Women in Games channels on Twitch, with re-streams also available on channels of participating parties.

its a noble cause but im concerned that the funds may end up in assads or Erdogans hands
allthough this may be a bigger problem in Syria

Are there mesures in place to secure the money going to the people concerned ?
