They published Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale and Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters on GOG once; both were removed at the time of https://www.gog.com/forum/general/announcement_regarding_few_games_being_removed_from_gog/page1 and never returned.
Hello to anyone reading this. I am Robin Light-Williams, formerly lead translator for Carpe Fulgur. I am very sorry to announce that my friend and business partner Andrew Dice, @SpaceDrakeCF, has passed away. Pursuant to that, Carpe Fulgur will be ceasing operations.

As written in our contracts I will be remitting rights to our translations of indie games we published to the developers who will hopefully be able to sell them on Steam for everyone to have. Thank you all for everything.

I don't think we ever found out why they weren't brought back, so the rights release could mean anything.
(I should say that this Twitter/X account is the only source for this, but it's being picked up elsewhere so I presume it's worth posting about.)
