I'm interested in streaming and recording gameplay, but a lot of the games I'd want to be recording are older and have compatibility issues due to things like resolution and colour palettes. I've used a few types of recording software like XSplit and OBS, but playing back recordings shows discolouration and distorted images. I was wondering if anyone with experience recording older games could give me some tips?
Additionally I'm looking for a capture card or cards primarily compatible with:
Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Wii U
Nintendo Wii
Xbox One
Xbox 360
Xbox
PlayStation 3
Plus optionally:
Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo DS
Nintendo 64
SNES
NES
Sega Dreamcast
Sega Mega Drive
For reference, I'm in the Europe/PAL zone, and the output types I'm interested in are RF, component/SCART, and HDMI.
