keviny01: I used to use tools like that in the age of physical discs. But cloud-saving today is infinitely better because it not only saves time but also gives you another insurance because your data reside in the cloud instead of locally,

BrianSim: That's exactly what it does as well (see the "Cloud Options" menu). And with the option of multiple cloud services at that (DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc) for the ultimate in insurance.
...
That's excellent, and I'll look into that. Having multiple cloud saves is a good safeguard too, in case one cloud service goes down. And I have one terabyte of storage in my OneDrive from my Office 365 subscription.

renegade042: If you exit Galaxy, really exit...not just send it to systray and then restart it is the setting still turned off?

I have restarted GOG Galaxy and my PC many times, turned the cloud sync setting on and off many times, and the settings in GOG Galaxy are always what I set them to be, so no issue there. The problem is that it always cloud syncs even if the cloud sync setting is off. I've since reinstalled GOG Galaxy, and the problem is still there. I googled, and found no one else with this problem. As my video capture above shows, I'm not seeing things here. The only thing I haven't tried is reinstalling DOS2, but it's a 2-hour download.
as someone who lives in the middle of nowhere i understand this guys issue.
i have DSL and when i came back to phantom liberty i noticed GOG galaxy constantly
nukes my entire connection with cloud uploading. this won't be a problem for most people but
the off option literally does nothing so it's kinda weird.
