Next issue: There doesn't seem to be a simple way to delete my posts.

Posts are not meant to be deleted, they shall stand as an eternal reminder of our embarrassments and stupidities. We must learn from history, else we are doomed to repeat it.

More seriously: You could ask support to delete a post, though I am uncertain as to whether or not they would comply with the request. Your other options are to either edit the post so that it no longer says whatever you wish it to not say, or make enemies around the forum so that they down-vote and spam-mark the post (and likely every single one of your posts, so it's a bit like burning down your house because of a single spider - I certainly won't envy you in that case) as it will be hidden when marked as spam enough times. Down-votes make your rep take a beating, though it's up to you whether or not that bothers you.

I think ;) you meant deleting your thread you opened, right?

check the forum for a so called blue one (they have their posts and names in blue unlike us in grey) hoover your mouse over their name (if it says online) and use the option start conversation.

This will bring you to the chat screen over there you can then ask to get this thread deleted.

But reply please here anyway as I already sent a message to a blue one. But they would need a confirmation ;)

And for posting links you need a certain rep count IIRC 10. Afterwards you can post links directly.

It didn't work because of the character limit.
You are allowed to use 10,000 characters of plain text per post.

Each character counts, also those used for tags like bold, italic or hyperlinks.
Spaces and line breaks are counted as characters as well.

I think that's the best option.

And there's a lot of wonderful people here willing to help.

It's quite simple, just edit it to include a highly controversial political view.

(on an offnote ^^ - can't really understand all the galaxy hate ^^ - using it since it was first released and literally had 0 problems with it (except maybe like 2 redownloads but that may have happened in browser gog downloader as well out of dunno 150 downloads)
