Yes, his binaries run native on Linux and all Windows versions after Win98 I know of.
There are very few guys who made tools for static recompilations of games where the source code is lost or not available although it's still a bloody lot of work.
Stuff like this also exists also for Warcraft 1, StarCraft and most recently Diablo 2 (and a few others) by now but they are mostly made for porting to the OpenPandora (which runs a custom Angström Linux).

well... shopping cart doesnt work either. i guess my addons are to blame... still it worked a few days ago.
