It would be helpful if you could provide details. For example, you say you downloaded it. That's a good first step. Did you install it? How did you install it? Are you using Galaxy? How are you trying to open the game? What happens when you try to open the game? Did you get an error message?

All useful information if you want help. You could also contact support.

You forgot to install it!

Nah, seriously... I think a bit more information would be helpful. Do you use the Galaxy client? If so, you should see the game in the left column. Just click it and hit the green "PLAY" button on the next page.

If you don't use Galaxy: Have you downloaded ALL files from your library and finished the installation?

Okay, that means you need to install either MS Visual C runtime library or DirectX. You can download them directly from microsoft, but I don't have a link ready.

Edit: DirectX = https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=8109

I think DirectX already contains the runtime library but don't quote me on that. :)

Edit2: from support page >>
- Missing mfc120u.dll, msvcp120.dll, or other files ending at vc12.dll indicate missing 2013 Visual C++ Redistributable packages. For 32-bit systems install the 32-bit package, for 64-bit systems, install both packages:
32-bit: https://files.gog.com/support/MSVC2013/vcredist_x86.exe
64-bit: https://files.gog.com/support/MSVC2013_x64/vcredist_x64.exe
