I installed the GOG downloader this weekend and at the email/password entry screen it just gets stuck at "please wait" and never connects. Is there a server down or something?

Working on my end. Just tested it with a DL after reading your post and no issues here. Make sure your firewall and/or antivirus aren't blocking it.
