this has been really annoying. i was hoping to switch from Steam to GOG but every time i hop back on my computer and try to launch a game its stuck on syncing. i have to reboot and hope it works. even if i try to launch from the game folder, or a shortcut to the game, it attempts to start then stops. i see this as a recurring theme in google searches but no resolution. please help

Ever figure this out? Same thing happening to me, at least on older games.

The Galaxy client I assume?

You can direct download from any browser, after you log into your account. The "Games" section of your account also, has a list of each game in your account. Click it and it shows a list of download options.
