It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

The attached error happens every time. I have redownloaded the installer, but the result is always the same. Any ideas? (and no, "use Galaxy" does not count as an idea).

Sorry for not posting in the game subforum, but I'd like to play it sometime in this millenium :P

A CRC error is a method of error checking on a file and/or a device.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclic_redundancy_check

I'd start off with trying to redownload the game to see if that fixes the issue.

If not, I would think next step would be running an error check on your hard drive(s). The advanced check where windows makes you reboot and it runs before you get the windows screen. Not just the simple skim version.
Firstly, have you clicked retry?

Next, make sure that all of the files in the location that you are installing to have been deleted (e.g: Delete C:\Massive Chalice) then try re-installing.

If that doesn't work, try installing it to another location (e.g: C:\Chalice).

If all fails, try skipping it and see what happens!
Sounds like something odd at your end. I have just installed 2.1.0.2 file no probs to a folder outside of Windows. Maybe your E drive is dying or needs error checking.

What will happen is you will likley end up with no music looking at the file in question. It's likley a corrupt download or problems with the hard-drive being installed too.

Check that the installer's digital signature is correct. If it is, that means that the installer is not corrupted (though it may still have a bad file in it) and you should check why that file is not copied correctly. The usual suggestion would be to temporarily disable your AV while installing.
If the digital signature fails, then your installer is faulty.

Tried all that before I made the thread. Thank's for trying though :) I'll try redownloading the installer on to a different drive now.

EDIT: Oddly enough this seems to have worked, though I have no idea why. Other installers downloaded to that location work perfectly fine. Ah well, as long as I've got it working. Thanks for the advice anyway!

Just checked. Installed and played fine.

Now I assume it'll work if you move the installed game to E?

I installed it on E, in the same location pictured in the OP. I only downloaded the installer to a different location.

Okay, that's good then! Good to know it's working.
