Today for the first time I wanted to get GOG Galaxy because of the Soma givewaway, but after executing it and setting the installer langague I always get an Runtime error and never installs.

Does anyone know hot to fix this?

Btw, I'm using Windows 7 x64 SP1.

You don't need galaxy to get and run Soma. Just download the offline installer, install the game and have fun.

But what if in the future I need Galaxy for other games?

It looks like you're missing some initial dependency, but I wouldn't know which, because I haven't used Windows in over half a year for gaming.

The same problem as this previous thread https://www.gog.com/forum/general/cant_install_gog_galaxy_2 but you try sending a ticket to GOG support.

Also agree with what seppelfred said: "Just download the offline installer, install the game and have fun."
