Dunno about any specific people, but GOG trashed old conversations and communication links. If I try to find certain people in my history the old conversations are just completely gone. Not a case of someone unfriending me but rather these are conversations where there never was a "friend" connection just PMs. May be multiple things at play, but I think it's safe to say that the GOG friend and chat system is currently rather primitive compared to what's out there that people are used to. It'll likely evolve for the better over time, but it's kind of "meh" ATM. :)
