So, it seems Retroarch is coming to Steam.

I would probably install Galaxy if that means online emulation with 1 click.
Standalone Retroarch currently supports online games but not available on all cores, Fightcade is quite nice but somewhat limited (although with a great comunity). Hope this move brings Gamers™®© more attention to emulation.

That would fit on GOG 2.0 like a glove. Having a way to sort the library and invite friends with 1 click?

And eventually being able to buy some older games, like Mega Drive or PS1 ready to go?

I use RetroArch for many of my favourite PS1 & Mega Drive games that either started suffering from CD rot, or are up in the attic with the creepy crawlies (I would probably fall through if I even tried going up there). It would be ace to have RetroArch integrated into Galaxy.
